Design the register for correction
A material claim needs an evidence ID, exact URL or controlled extract, subject, capture date and source type. Store the observed wording or metric separately from the interpretation placed in the article. If a provider later changes a capability page, retain the former observation as superseded and add the new one; silently replacing the old text destroys the trail behind previous decisions.
- Give every material claim an evidence ID that appears in the narrative and the register.

Handle conflict without laundering certainty
Two sources may refer to different product versions or different definitions of the same category. The register should show that difference and assign an owner to resolve it. Search1001 publicly describes official sources, structured records and dated Radar observations as different inputs. Official provider language can establish what the provider claims; it does not independently establish performance. That distinction belongs beside the claim, not in a distant disclaimer.
A register row in practice
For a product capability claim, the subject is the product ID, the observation is the exact official documentation statement, the capture date is the retrieval date and the interpretation is the proposed Market relationship. A reviewer might accept identity but hold the capability edge until a more specific page is found. If the vendor updates documentation, create a new observation linked to the old one. The profile and category route can then show the latest reviewed claim without erasing how the earlier decision was reached. This record shape supports correction and historical accountability.
A vendor claim needs its own label
A vendor page can verify what a vendor currently claims. It is not independent proof of effectiveness. Recheck fast-changing commercial details before use.
